Fromagerie GUILLOTEAU is an example of a company which has succeeded in making a name for itself, launched top brands and created a large number of jobs (227 employees in 2007), in an environment of small towns close to the mountains (Pélussin in the Loire and Belley in the Ain).
With an ongoing investment policy (extension of the Pélussin site 3 times, the opening of the Belley unit in 1989, the setting up of a research and development unit, efficient marketing and sales structures and finally a 9000 m2 site opened in November 2001), Fromagerie GUILLOTEAU has proved its desire for independence and its aim to ensure credible contact with its customers.

By rapidly developing its facilities outside of France and adjusting its policy to each country, the cheese dairy is already doing 1/4 of its business on the international market with a growth of + 25 % per year.
