This year, Fromager d’Affinois celebrates 30 years in the United States ; 30 years of sharing creamy moments with American cheese lovers.

The story began in 1981 in the village of Pélussin, France, where Jean-Claude Guilloteau and his wife set out to create a new kind of cheese. By rethinking cheese-making, they developed soft cheeses with a uniquely smooth and creamy texture, made to be enjoyed and shared.

In 1996, Fromager d’Affinois crossed the Atlantic for the first time. What started as a new adventure quickly became a lasting connection with partners, chefs, retailers, and consumers across the U.S. Over the years, the brand has earned its place on American tables thanks to its consistent quality, versatility, and unmistakable creaminess.

Rooted in its French origins and crafted with care, Fromager d’Affinois continues to bring indulgent cheeses to everyday moments. As we celebrate 30 years in the U.S., we thank everyone who has been part of this journey, and look forward to many more years of melting together.
