Double Cream Christmas Wreath

Ingredients

  • Fromager d’Affinois Le Fromager
  • Assorted cured meats (salami, prosciutto, etc.)
  • Honey
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Fresh figs, halved
  • Apple slices
  • Green olives
  • Grapes
  • Raspberries
  • Edible flowers
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs
  • Star-shaped cookies or crackers
  • Whatever you like

Directions

  1. Create the wreath base
    Place the wheel of Le Fromager on a serving board. Using a round cookie cutter or small bowl, carefully cut out the center of the cheese to form a wreath shape.

  2. Transfer to serving board
    Gently move the cheese wreath onto your final serving board, making sure it stays intact.

  3. Add greenery
    Tuck fresh rosemary sprigs around the top of the cheese to create a festive, wreath-like look.

  4. Build the layers
    Arrange cured meats around the wreath, folding or shaping them into rosettes.

  5. Add fruit and crunch
    Fill in the gaps with figs, strawberries, apple slices, olives, and any additional fruit or berries.

  6. Finish with festive details
    Add star-shaped cookies or crackers, drizzle honey over the cheese, and include a small dish of honey on the board if desired.

  7. Serve
    Bring to room temperature before serving. Slice, spread, and enjoy !
