Bacon Jam Pear Brie Tarts

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 wheel Fromager d’Affinois Truffle
  • 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup bacon jam
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Fresh thyme (optional)
  • Hot honey (optional drizzle)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 6-8 squares.
  4. Score a small border around each square (don’t cut all the way through).
  5. Spread a spoonful of bacon jam inside the border.
  6. Add slices of Fromager D’Affinois Truffle on top.
  7. Layer thin pear slices over the cheese.
  8. Brush the edges with egg wash.
  9. Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden and puffed.
  10. Finish with fresh thyme and a drizzle of hot honey if desired.
