Bacon Jam Pear Brie Tarts
Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 wheel Fromager d’Affinois Truffle
- 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
- ½ cup bacon jam
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Fresh thyme (optional)
- Hot honey (optional drizzle)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 6-8 squares.
- Score a small border around each square (don’t cut all the way through).
- Spread a spoonful of bacon jam inside the border.
- Add slices of Fromager D’Affinois Truffle on top.
- Layer thin pear slices over the cheese.
- Brush the edges with egg wash.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden and puffed.
- Finish with fresh thyme and a drizzle of hot honey if desired.
