Brûléed Stuffed Dates
Ingredients
- 1 wedge Fromager d’Affinois Le Fromager
- Squeeze of honey, plus additional for drizzling
- Pinch of salt
- 12 dates, pitted
- 1/4 cup turbinado sugar
- Black pepper
- Thyme, fresh, for garnish
Directions
- Cut the rind off of the wedge of Fromager d’Affinois Le Fromager.
- In a food processor, whip together the Fromager d’Affinois Le Fromager with a squeeze of honey and pinch of salt until smooth. Add to a piping bag.
- Pipe the cheese into each pitted date, then press each in turbinado sugar.
- Carefully brûlée each date, then finish with a drizzle of honey, black pepper, and thyme.
- Serve in paper wrappers for a playful touch !
