Ham, Cheese & Roasted Red Pepper Croissant
Ingredients
- 1 croissant (fresh or pre-baked)
- 2–3 slices of dry-cured ham
- 2–3 slices of roasted red peppers
- 2–3 tablespoons of Fromager d’Affinois
- Optional : fresh herbs (e.g., chives, parsley) for garnish
Directions
- Preheat the oven (optional)
If you like your croissant warm and slightly crispy, preheat your oven to 350°F. - Prepare the croissant
Slice the croissant horizontally, being careful not to cut all the way through, creating a pocket for the filling. - Add the cheese
Spread Fromager d’Affinois evenly inside the croissant. - Layer the ham and peppers
Place slices of dry-cured ham and roasted red peppers on top of the cheese. - Optional – warm it up
Place the croissant on a baking sheet for 5-7 minutes, just enough to slightly melt the cheese and warm the filling. - Garnish and serve
Add fresh herbs if desired, slice, and enjoy immediately as a rich, indulgent treat.
